Angel, a mother of four and a Columbia graduate, opened her first salon, Beyond Beautiful Supply and Salon, in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 2003. Known as a melting pot, the salon welcomed clients from Samoa, Somalia, El Salvador, Australia, Sudan, China, Senegal, Venezuela, Russia, Bosnia, the Marshall Islands, Honduras, Israel, Liberia, Guatemala, and beyond. This diverse clientele brought a rich array of hair textures, types, colors, lengths, and conditions, along with their unique cultural hair care rituals.

Understanding that every mane is unique, Angel dedicated herself to studying both the similarities and differences in hair. Combining science, nature, and grooming rituals from around the world, she spent over 15 years refining her craft through trials, ingredient changes, case studies, and more. The result?
